If you're not sure about anything, please don't hesitate to ask, we'll have a discovery email for a reason!I WON'T DRAW:
Scat, watersports, racial supremecy unless in a fictional setting ie. Fantasy. No real people or minors. Animals/beasts but I can assess this on a case-by-case basis. Complex environments - I still consider myself as a developing artist in this field and would rather put the quality into the characters.GENERAL TERMS:
You must be 18+ to order a commission. All drawings will include a subtle watermark that you may not remove. I may use screenshots of the drawing process and post it on my social media. I have the right to reject any order. All commissions are for a digital product, there are no physical products.PROCESS AND DELIVERY:
All work has a hard deadline of 3 months. Priority work is charged extra and is characterised as: within 4 weeks for monochrome rendering, within 8 weeks for full colour rendering. Please inform me if you have a deadline even if your commission doesn't qualify as priority work.Whilst completing your commission I will make reviews via email to ensure the piece is appropriate to your brief. The number of reviews will depend on the complexity of the work. The reviews will give you access to work-in-progress and these images will include a watermark to reflect that. You will be able check the status of your commission on my Trello page as well as via email if you have any more questions.PAYMENT:
Currency accepted is GBP and can be paid through PayPal, I will send you a link where you can enter your payment details. Commissions are paid either 100% upfront or 50% upfront with the final 50% after sketch approval.
No payments will be requested until I have agreed to give you a slot. There is a no refund policy once I begin the commission and payment will only be requested when your slot is confirmed. If for any reason I am unable to start or complete your commission, you will be entitled to a full refund or we can reschedule the completion of your commission. If you cancel your commission for any reason and I have already begun work, I will retain a percentage according to the work done. If you cancel your commission before I started work, you are entitled to a full refund. If you are receiving a refund, please do not request a Paypal chargeback as I will transfer the money back to you myself. Completed commissions are non-refundable.COPYRIGHT/USAGE POLICY:
I, Apex Devotions (the Artist), claim the rights to the produced artwork, not the buyer. Therefore I am allowed to use the copyrighted artwork to:
Promote myself with it everywhere Publish books with it. Display it everywhere to my liking (website, social media, etc.)Post it wherever I want.
THE BUYER IS ALLOWED TO:
Use the commissioned piece for personal use unless agreed otherwise (you can upload it on all your social media profiles, forums, etc.). Print the artwork and claim any OC character(s) as their own but not the artwork itself. Use the artwork to promote themselves. You are not obliged to give the artist credit when you post it but it is appreciated. Use the artwork on your Youtube channel and in monetised videos as long as the artwork itself is not the main subject for the earnings.
THE FOLLOWING IS CONSIDERED COPYRIGHT INFRINGEMENT:
Reproducing/using the copyrighted artwork commercially, which means making money off it in any way.Using the artwork(s) to create AI generated imagery. Claiming the artwork as your own. Removing my signature from the artwork. Altering the artwork without my consent. I will not, under any circumstances, create NFTs or consent to my artwork being sold as NFTs. I reserve the full rights to the image and its use/distribution unless otherwise agreed upon (rights to the image for your own non-personal use may be purchased at any time).CUSTOMER SATISFACTION:
I will do everything I can to ensure you have a positive experience. If you have a problem with the commissioned piece, please don't hesitate to tell me right away so we can find a solution that you are satisfied with. I am willing to change some terms if you ask prior to me starting your commission. For example, you may not want me to share WIPs during the creation period.
